Kat Barry is an award-winning Chicago Realtor with 20 years of experience, specializing in the listing and marketing of unique properties in the city’s trendiest neighborhoods. As a Top Producer with the Chicago Association of Realtors and a member of the Compass Legends Society, Kat’s proven strategies have resulted in a 99% average sale-to-list price ratio.
Kat has been featured in Chicago Magazine, is a two-time nominee for the Chicago Reader’s Best of Chicago awards for Best Real Estate Agent, and served as a local real estate expert on HGTV’s House Hunters and two seasons of My House is Worth What? She previously worked as a columnist for Realtor Magazine and was recognized as one of Realtor Magazine's 30 Under 30 in 2009.
As a Certified International Property Specialist focusing on France and the EU, Kat also holds certifications in GREEN practices and At Home with Diversity from the National Association of REALTORS®. She specializes in eco-friendly retrofits and sustainable housing in Chicago. Kat is deeply involved in her community, assisting small business owners in securing homes and storefronts in the Logan Square, Humboldt Park, Wicker Park, and Bucktown neighborhoods.
A former vegan cookbook author and Paris-based teacher with a French degree from the University of Michigan, Kat now resides in Logan Square with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking vegan meals, and sailing on Lake Michigan.
